SELECTED GALLERY: December 28, 2000 - BARBIE's CRADLE GIG
BARBIE's CRADLE had a Christmas gig over at Virgin Cafe. My friend Warren (who is now the band's roady) invited me to go along with him. My other friend, Deon came along too. It was a pretty cool gig! They also played a few songs with TEETH (another great band!). There was one more band that played before Barbie's Cradle but I thought they sucked. I didn't appreciate what they played...they were some unknown boy-band wannabe group. Boybands already suck, but a WANNABE boyband group is just too much. Barbie's Cradle was really nice though! They make beautiful music. After the show, I got to meet the 3 musicians. They seem like nice people.
